Padforms is a desktop trainer for finger drumming on your MPC or any 16-pad MIDI controller. Hand-written lessons, a scrolling timeline, and millisecond-accurate scoring tell you exactly where your hands are landing, every bar.
Each lesson is built around a real pattern. Rock, hip-hop, off-grid hats, ghost-note funk. You see the bar before you play it, then play it through.
Perfect, good, late, early, miss, wrong pad. The end-of-lesson summary tells you which hand is dragging and by how many milliseconds, not just a percentage.
Local streaks and accuracy trends. Per-pad breakdowns across kick, snare, hat, and ghost. A skill path that widens as your placement gets tighter.
One pad, one steady note, one number at the end. The point is to know what your floor is and to feel what locked timing feels like before you ask your hands to do anything harder.
Backbeat and eighths. Hands start to disagree on purpose. Slow the speed to 50% or 75% when the bar bites. Your hands learn the shape before they learn the tempo.
Sixteenths, syncopation, ghost notes. Placement matters more than speed. The per-hit breakdown stops being a curiosity and starts being the thing you chase.
Every lesson, every scoring feature, the full skill path. No card, no trial timer. We're building in public during the launch period (months, not weeks).
When paid tiers arrive, we'll tell you first. A free tier will keep the core lessons usable, and existing players get reasonable notice before anything changes.
